On the 20th of November 1968, a little girl was born to Mr and Mrs Derrick and Ionie Cole a policeman and a teacher of 7B Penguin Key, May Pen Clarendon. She became the 4th child of her proud parents. She was named Charmaine Grace Paula Cole. (Symbolically her name Grace classified the grace that was bestowed upon her throughout her life). At age 3 Charmaine attended the Westleyan holiness basic school then onto May Pen Infant School. At age 6 she entered May Pen Primary School. Charmaine has always been a lively child, always adventerous and full of fun.
